Andy is the Dir. of Environmental and Regulatory Policy and has lobbying responsibility for environmental and regulatory affairs affecting manufacturers in MI. He was Executive Director of the MI Chem Council from 1989 to 2005. Following his service at MCC he was President of EnviroPolicy Consultants. Andy also served as Communications Director for the House Democratic staff in the 1970’s and worked on legislative staff in both the House and Senate for 12 years.

Leanne has been with the MO DNR since 1994, beginning her career in the Air Pollution Control Program in enforcement and permitting. She has worked on diverse issues across a spectrum of environmental media areas, including water quality, air quality, waste management, land reclamation, lead legacy, and the Missouri River. She has responsibilities encompassing all of the environmental media programs, five regional offices, and the ESP.

He has over 30 years experience working with private parties conducting cleanup activities, overseeing publically-funded response actions to address contamination, and returning brownfield properties to productive reus. Alan Walts is Director of the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance in U.S. EPA Region 5, which serves Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin and 35 tribes. This Office coordinates enforcement, and manages the Region’s Environmental Justice and National Environmental Policy Act programs. From 1996-2007, Alan was a staff attorney in Region 5’s Office of Regional Counsel. Alan is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the University of Michigan Law School.

His has a bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UW- Madison.
