Please TEST the blue button in your email BEFORE MECC starts on the device you intend to use on the day of the Conference.

Please don’t try this 5 minutes before the Conference starts. It will be very difficult for me to help you while the Conference is in progress.

If you have a highly secure laptop, a highly secured internet connection, or a very picky IT department, you may have difficulty accessing the link. Practice now to keep frustration low.

Some suggestions:  

• use your personal computer rather than your company’s (you’re likely to have different security settings)
• assuming you have adequate bandwidth, view the Conference at home (you will probably have fewer prohibitions by your organization’s IT department)
• use the Chrome browser
• test your device and your internet connection well in advance of the conference
• ask your IT department if Vimeo is restricted, and if so, ask what you can do about it
